Studio Porte 9 launches a call for projects dedicated to an artistic research process culminating in the creation of a performative work. This work is grounded in the simultaneous presence of dance and live music and is intended for repeated public presentation.
This call is informed by the vision of Studio Porte 9, which understands art as a condition of existence and as a mode of being together.
We seek research-based projects in which experience does not arise from the expression of an individual subject, but instead emerges from a dynamic field of relationships.
Particular attention is given to projects in which dance and music evolve through processes of dialogue, listening, and co-presence, without predetermined hierarchy, and in which the performative form is generated through the research itself.
The selected project will result in the creation of a performative work emerging from the research, conceived for multiple public presentations while remaining open to contextual variations and encounters with audiences.
